I've had a productive planning day for new MOOVPAD patent work being developed, and other tasks too.
Science Extensions
So far, the PAPE framework has been extended several times in terms of the actual algorithms included for efficiencies, exhaustion, adaptation and rest-corrections of these. My current planning is looking at new ways of applying these equations for analytics. There's quite a lot of work that needs to go into this area.
However the current work on the books does not need to be changed or extended as one of the goals for these early editiions is to keep them fairly concise and simple to understand for most readers, without a lot of explanatory text and only the necessary amount of technical jargon.
That has been one of the key points of focus for me recently. Going over the manuscript to make sure that it is relatively easy to digest, and ensuring that the different parts of the chapters and text overall link together clearly.
The original aim set last year was to have the final file completed around the end of January. As this is the first time putting together something like this book, I decided to allow a few more weeks so that I can be sure the end result meets the points above while not feeling rushed. This is also important as it will serve as a guide for future books on similar topics, so the extra time on the first one will hopefully make the work on the next one smoother too.
