First The Fun Stuff
New Vibes 😎
Tinashe just released her new video with an awesome look, including some pretty cool 3D art. Made me think about how far things have progressed with video production in such a short timeframe. Lots of new tunes drop all the time of course and this particular genre isn't my usual thing but wanted to show you how the trends are evolving. It's not even a thing now to have your entire video be a 3D game-style production!
Strategy Gameplay
With the lockdown extended and this year not shaping up much better than 2020 in terms of the pandemic, I thought I'd show you one of my fav games called Sid Meier's Civ VI. I started playing the Civ games when the series began way back when, and they keep getting better. The screenshot here was the last time I played a while ago. Might get back to it though.
All-Out Gameplay
Another series that I've been into from the beginning is Halo, and can't wait to play the latest one due for release soon hopefully. Called Halo Infinite, it's supposed to have some massive maps and campaigns. Apparently some lucky gamers have trying out the Beta already, so shouldn't be too long.
Then The Serious
Web API
I completed a sample web API yesterday but have been getting some errors trying to upload it to GitHub due to the number of files and some particular files not wanting to cooperate. In any case, it was really just a sample with only a few changes from the default scaffold created by VS 2019. This type of API is not likely to be useful to MOOVPAD. More on that later.
Linux Server Course
Yesterday I posted about the Ubuntu Server training and said that the CUBE Certification course they had was still in Beta. So I managed to find an alternative basics course for those interested in using Linux server. Across the industry, it seems most experts agree with the security and flexibility advantages of Linux-based servers.
