Mellow Done Right 😎
Inspiration is always a welcome thing in our lives, especially when it drives us towards a better future and brighter outlook each day, right? Well the guys at Chill Music Lab... they got our back. Check out this track and their awesome catalogue of live stations and other feature mixes. What about MOOVPAD? Let's see what's been happening and still to come.
The Foundational Science
Over the last 6 weeks or so, I've been outlining the first half of the research project that started all of the PAPE framework development. Since that original work, there have been 3 major extensions of the framework, accounting for a wide range of additional equations. These are of course important in their own right, and I'll be delving a bit deeper into the reasons for this over the coming weeks and months.
As an overview though:
The first set of extensions looked at how we can quantify exhaustion and adaptation (rather than using confusing terms that are not well defined scientifically).
Next came the extensions that addressed how we can think of the difference between total measures and rest-corrected values for efficiencies, exhaustion and adaptation. More on this still to come.
And most recently (patent filing this week), the ability to form relations between all of these values was added to the overall framework. And these too will be looked at with time.
MOOVPAD Coding
The most recent patent (refer to the post from two days ago) means that the underlying framework needs to be updated in the MOOVPAD code. There are also other aspects of the coding that needs to be progressed over the next few months as well. As milestones for these projects are reached, I'll share the latest news.
There's also plenty of goodness to come when it comes to all the 3D modelling and Unity projects that I'm really enjoying along the way. The most recent project here involves the mobo modelling project. More on this soon too.
Enjoy your weekend folks, and I hope to catch up again soon.
Stay awesome,
EMH
