Update: New Scrollview Control

Chill Time 😎

With some good progress made last night, and even a new permanent feature added to the base of this and future posts (see below), I thought to myself... "you know what E, how about some relaxation time". So of course, I turned to the awesome team at Chill Music Lab for inspiration I could share with you guys while I catch us up real quick 🙂

New Vertical Scroller Control

The screen capture to the left shows the first stage of the process in building my 'custom controls'. As you can see, it begins with a section of markup with all the features I think will be needed for the control (in this case, it's going to be a vertical scroller as seen in the capture below. The red squiggly lines underneath the parameters in the markup mean that I haven't written the code for these things yet.

So tonight, the process of declaring all of the variables for each element begins, as well as the writing of the methods and functions for the event handlers (e.g. button clicks).

Oh, and be sure to check out the 'How MOOVPAD Is Being Built' section that will be pinned to the bottom of each upcoming post, and updated as often as needed with some of the FAQ's that keep coming up 🙂

Stay awesome,
