The Right Flow 😎
Everything is better with the right vibes, don't you agree?
Hopefully you are having an amazing day, and you enjoy this latest track from Music Lab for your creative work/study this weekend. I've been at it too.
Let's see, yea?
Progress With Unity Essentials
It has been great working with Unity so far. The engine is not only powerful but lots of fun to work in. And it's pretty cool to see that the time I've spent learning about it is making the transition smooth. Right now my focus is getting better at coding with the Unity API so that future projects are easier.
Setting Up Fresh Systems
To make it possible to work on as many different tasks as possible on any computer, I have been installing dual booting Ubuntu and Windows as a standard now (laptop and desktop). Windows still has all of my main Unity, Visual Studio and Adobe Creative Cloud on both systems, while the Ubuntu installation is more for 3D modelling and a little bit of Unity work too (e.g. going through the learning material). I keep the work on Windows completely offline at all times now too, and only connect for software and OS updates.
LibreOffice
The handy thing about the LibreOffice suite on Ubuntu is that the files can be saved in file formats compatible with MS Office on Windows. The only real difference appears to be the fonts. Otherwise, the workflow between the two platforms is fine.
Hope to catch up again soon.
Stay awesome as always,
EMH
