This awesome track from 2014 by Stay See will help set the tone for a personal special announcement that I am making tonight with mixed feelings, but one that I feel is both appropriate and beneficial to all parties involved in one way or another. Here goes...
Industry Migration
Since July 2011, I have been registered as an allied health professional here in Australia. However after over a decade and various issues encountered on a personal level within the industry, I have decided not to renew my registration as of this year, and will instead focus on supporting health and fitness professionals locally and abroad through MOOVPAD.
I said that this was with mixed feelings as I firmly believe in the work I was doing, but despite this, I came to feel that my work and efforts were constantly being pushed to the side for many of my years of registration. And so the MOOVPAD project, from the time of it's inception, has been my main focus. It therefore makes no real sense to maintain registration that will likely never be used in the future.
Importantly though, while I will be officially setting my registration aside, this in no way means that I have given up on health and fitness professionals themselves in any way. Quite the opposite actually. I will simply seek to support your careers through MOOVPAD products and services moving forward.
With that major announcement (at least for me) made and out of the way, I can now turn my attention to enjoying some game time for the rest of the evening after a day of solid progress and a feeling of real excitement for what lays ahead.
I want to thank everyone for hearing me out tonight and for the patience to see where the MOOVPAD projects are headed so far and moving forward. I can guarantee that as long as I'm around at least, there will always be more to come 😉
