The Right Vibe 😎
Another productive day and night for me, and I hope you guys have also had a great one. Please enjoy this latest goodness from Music Lab as we take a look at what's to come with the site project.
Here we go.
Current v1.0
The current version of the site uses WordPress and pre-built templates for layouts. It has been very useful so far and continues to be handy during these early dev stages, where the focus is really on getting together the apps for beta testing (hopefully starting Q2/Q3 2022 for at least some of the core components) and making progress with the books.
Changes in v2.0
As I've been working on the core parts of MOOVPAD, I've also been wireframing v2.0 of the site (shown to the left). The plan for the next version of the site is to move away from the pre-built layouts and towards a custom design concept. I have been learning about current trends in web design as I work on all the other elements. Hopefully some of this work has been getting across through this Blog so far.
Visual Elements
While a few of the Blender projects have already been making their way into the visuals and content for the site, the really exciting parts for me are the ones yet to come. My skills have been gradually improving and I'm learning more from my little adventures in Blender. The goal is to create visuals that both highlight the MOOVPAD projects and do so in a visually interesting way. Progress continues 🙂
Content Development
With all of these different sub-projects going on simultaneously, the idea of content creation for the v2.0 site is always an ongoing goal. And so the work being done in Blender isn't just for the MOOVPAD project itself, but the future site and socials too.
Hopefully this helps to clarify the reasons for all the 3D projects and learnings.
