Site Growth & Basic Metrics
I really do have to thank everyone visiting and for the time spent reading posts and viewing the different parts of the site. While I don't have metrics to share on how much time you guys spend on the site, I can tell you that there are definitely more views (as the graph on the right shows clearly). As always the precise number isn't what matters. All that I'll say for now is that there now several thousand views every week. And although I've been working really hard to deliver content that's meaningful, it's you guys that inspire and drive the growth. For this I am sincerely grateful.
Functional Progress
The keen observers among you will have noticed the little change in the site's header (shown circled in the pic to the left). Yes, I've added the e-Commerce features to the site well in advance of the books or apps being ready. There's still some fine tuning to be done and testing of course, which is why I wanted to get started very early and make sure that everything would be ready when the right time came.
But don't expect too much to be happening there yet because as I'll be explaining over the next few days or so, there's still a lot of work to be done.
Full Disclosure
In order to maintain your trust in relation to site security now and in the future, I've decided to reveal the actual trends in terms of failed logins to the admin portal. As you can see to the right, there are around 1-3 failed security breaches daily, but the site's host security is dealing with this situation well.
Later Today
The two areas I'll focus on for the rest of the night are writing more code for the UI on the desktop MOOVPAD app, and I might also get to start a new Blender 3D modelling project later too.
