What a ride... 😎
Ok guys, I needed to find the right track for this post, because the ride has to be as wild as the night I've had with all the tech "issues".
You ready for this? Here we go.
The Plan
As usual, I posted the plan for the night's work first, and that was around 4:45pm local time here in Sydney. At that stage everything appeared to be going fine.
I mentioned that I would be updating some of the progress with the 3D projects as well as some of the MOOVPAD coding. And then... 😉

3D Fun & MOOVPAD Updates - Stalled in Cache
The two posts immediately after the night's plan, namely the updates on the 3D character rig and MOOVPAD coding progress were stalled in the server's cache (that's the web host's server. not mine). I didn't realise that until an hour ago, because I was dealing with a couple of other things...
Windows Machine Trouble
You see, my Windows computer (actually just the OS I think) started causing some major problems and basically wasn't working as expected. I thought "that's strange, but it happens, I'll just re-install). At the time, I didn't yet know about the server cache situation, because the posts were showing up in my admin portal on the Linux machine. So my coding for the night was going to be delayed, but I expected to get the situation sorted pretty quickly...

Internet Provider Issues - Modem and Phoneline Out
While I mentioned in the last two posts about the Windows issues, I didn't yet know all the other issues happening in the background as well. Pretty soon, I realised that the internet wasn't working properly, and traced the problem back to my modem. So, on the phone with the ISP who's still looking into the problem...
Web Host Call
About 3am I realised that the Blog posts weren't showing up on the page when I view it from another browser, but only visible through the admin portal. So another call (second one) to the web host letting them know that the problem was worse than just not being able to log in to the portal like before (caused by the Windows and internet issues). It was then, after about 30mins of trial and error, that they discovered the server cache issue...

Summary Then...
So in one night (less than 12 hours), we have a faulty Windows failing the first time, then the server cache issue, then the modem and phone line, then a second failure of a fresh Windows install just 30 minutes ago, and a VPN issue to cap it all off.
Geez, lucky I'm not into conspiracy theories, because I swear it kind of seems... 🙂
Til tomorrow folks, thanks for your patience, and check out the earlier posts which are now live.
Stay awesome,
EMH
