Great Work Chill 😎
Hope we're all enjoying our Sunday and having plenty of fun while maybe getting some useful things done along the way too. This awesome station from Work Music Lab will help with the mood for my work today as I update us on the results from last night and what's coming up a little later today 🙂
Systems: Ready
I ended up leaving the PC upgrading until late in the evening while I got other things done, including upgrading OS's and software in preparation for the hardware upgrade. To the left is a quick screenshot of an AMD Ryzen Master assessment of the new CPU. The 5900x is noticeably faster in certain tasks and runs much better in the background when the PC isn't really being pushed too hard
However I should emphasize that for the general work I do (productivity and coding software mainly), the difference isn't obvious between this CPU and the 3900x. I only really noticed a difference when I opened up multiple programs. For example, I tried some of the in-built Premiere Pro tutorials, had lots of browser tabs running including the vibes of course, and loaded other programs too. Didn't even come close to reaching max frequencies. Other PC specs are unchanged.
