Mentalllll ð
Hopefully your day/night this Saturday is awesome, and you're enjoying the weekend vibe so far. This track from Chill Music Lab will help us set the vibe right for the geekalicious below.
And may God have mercy on your soul for all the devilish that lies within you...
The Complete Research Project
Let's face it. You guys are beyond salvation at this point. I tried warning you of the evils of science, and especially the nerdaggy that did all that science stuff. But you wouldn't listen.
Well here it is. The links to the whole project.
I even broke down all the subgroups, as you know, to try and reduce the mental impact of this abomination.
But did you listen after that? NOOOOO. "We want to see what happens", you said. "We'll be fine, E".
And despite the fear digging out my brain in spoonfuls, I went along for the ride with you freaks...
So What Happened?
The results for patients with MI (i.e. damage to their heart muscle), in terms of changes to how they respond to exercise after the intervention, showed some important new trends here too, just like in the last post for patients without MI. And again, SB and MC subgroups showed some novel patterns seen in this research for the first time.
Rather than explaining all of the data, I'll just hint at the main point: combining both of these new SB and MC subgroup classifications allows us to better predict the changes that can be expected in cardiac patients following an exercise-based rehabilitation program. For all the specifics, check out the link above.
Are your geekish urges satisfied yet?
You're just lucky I can't resist you.
But damn it, wake up! This is not good for you! STOP even! ðĪŠ
Stay awesome,
EMH
