It can be easy to underestimate the significance of making small improvements in our lives, but trying to make them consistently. I certainly don't always succeed in doing this, but I find that music is a powerful motivator for me and helps set the mood for positive outcomes. Hope you all enjoy this latest release from 'the man from del monte' while we catch up 🙂
Databases Then Compute
Tonight's MS Azure module looked at the different types of database servers that can be hosted through their cloud platform and delivered as a PaaS model (covered that a few posts ago... remember?). The offerngs include both MS and Linux based solutions, which is good to see. The two options I'm personally considering are MS SQL or MySQL.
Having finished off that module, the next one will look at compute services through Azure. While I might not need to know all the ins and outs of every feature and service, it helps to have a broad overview leading up to the planned testing of the web app to deployed on Azure, initially at least.
But it's Saturday night. On a long weekend. So we done working & learning for now, yes? 🙂
