Over the last couple days, the focus has been on working through some more of the bugs and getting the newly built UI screens ready for animation later. So I hope you guys enjoy this latest release by Chill Music Lab while we take a look at some of the progress my end 🙂
New UI Screens
Life's taught me to try as much as possible to sort through things myself wherever possible, and so I'm always reluctant to involve others in things. I had an issue with the new profile view screen that was initially something I thought was due to a programming error because the screen wasn't loading (apparently anyway) and the nav functions for the screen were also not working.
This morning I realised that the issue was opacity. I had put together the markup in a way that was ready for animation later, but hadn't set the opacity value explicitly. This meant the browser defaulted to rendering opacity at 0. And for whatever reason, this somehow also affected the nav button, making the issue appear to be a programming rather than markup error.
More work ahead, and I hope you guys make lots of progress with your projects too.
