Sometimes I have to remind myself that I don't have to finish everything this very hour/day/week, and that time extends beyond that. I like to get things done, but when the project is as big as this one is, it might just take a bit more time. And I'm grateful to friends, teachers and mentors. Please enjoy this track I'm chilling to right now.
MOOVPAD UI and UX
Having found new ways to improve the user experience (UX), I now need to update the UI to match since the core code itself allows for these changes without issues but the interface needs changing. For those who haven't tried programming an app on this kind of scale, or new to programming more generally, let me just say that it can get fairly heavy.
Fortunately there are ways of streamlining the process and I'm learning these as I go. I also have to remind myself quite often that this is of course partially due to less experience than professional programmers who have years of such work behind them, but also due to the fact that the project scope is quite large.
If you are taking on a project that you feel might be too difficult or too far out of your area of expertise, remember that learning and developing new skills is always better than simply giving up on your goals.
New Learnings
Also had a chance tonight to go a little further with some tutorials relating to coding projects, but didn't get the time to work on the new Unity tutorial. Hopefully I can get started on that tomorrow. My brain is fried atm (it's about 2:45 am here now), so I think I'll leave the work here for tonight.
