Working On The New 😎
While still working on the learnings right now, I'll be going offline for quite a while next and just thought I'd show you guys the workflow I'm using to both learn the basics and develop the new MOOVPAD website too.
Hope you all enjoy this Ambient Music Lab background as we take a quick look.
The Basic Structure
To the left is a quick screen capture of the current workflow, showing the tutorial video, MS Word notes below it, as well as VS 2022 and MS SQL Server 2019 on the right. The focus right now for me is just understanding the new Entity Framework Core structure as it has been a long time since I've done anything with it and there have been multiple updates since.
I have the database connections configured and all the data injection coding is pretty much complete at the basic level. This will give me a useful template to follow for the real thing, and the notes I'm making along the way will also help to remind me of the necessary steps.
The benefit of using Razor pages is that all the code already written for the MOOVPAD apps can be used without any changes needed. I can then apply lessons from the Udemy web dev course to help make the user interface more interesting and apply the security learnings from that course too.
