I've had some great ideas recently about how introduce new MOOVPAD projects and marketing elements. Let's see...
Additional Distribution Channel
Kickstarter is a potentially new addition to the marketing plan for MOOVPAD moving forward as it allows me to bring together separate projects in a cohesive way, helping to link these during launch stages. However to put together a successful Kickstarter campaign takes some careful strategic planning to give everyone the right mix of values.
Integrating New Projects
Among the new MOOVPAD projects being planned are a set of courses that will cover the material in the books. These will reinforce learning for readers and hopefully provide an additional foundation stone to future work with the apps. Of course releasing these courses is easier said than done because they will require both VOD and streaming content, and both of these are things I'm less comfortable with.
So the Kickstarter plans initially include tying in at least the first completed book with course offering s and a couple of smaller rewards too for potential backers. These smaller rewards will be designed as community building drivers, allowing backers who may wish to provide a smaller contribution an opportunity to support the project without feeling the need to commit to anything major upfront.
Getting this mix of offerings right for MOOVPAD is going to take some careful thought and planning, as I said. However I believe these goals will help support other channels such as publishing through platforms such as Amazon (minimising the risks associated with relying too heavily on a single platform) as well as local print sources.
