FAQ Development – Part 1

Environment Neo 😎

You guys already know... when I share something new and need the right vibe, the first place I turn to is Chill Music Lab and their awesome productions. This is their latest release and helps set the mood for what's coming up.

Hope you enjoy this track as we take a look at some of the more common questions lurking in the dark 🙂

How Is MOOVPAD Linked To Physiologic Efficiency?

MOOVPAD is linked to the concept of physiologic efficiency equations by the researcher who first proposed these concepts in 2011-2014 as part of his research, Dr Ehsan M Hamdy (he’s the one who posts and signs the Blog posts “EMH”. While currently still registered as an allied health practitioner, his main focus right now is on R&D related to the MOOVPAD apps and the PAPE framework,

He usually tries to hide his inner geek because it is evil science nerdish that we must never unleash, and should contain if it ever escapes from time to time.

Or not… whatever  😉

What is MOOVPAD?

As a business, MOOVPAD is based in Australia and is focused on developing a suite of health and fitness apps, publishing the science of physiologic efficiency and the PAPE framework, as well as delivering a range of corporate social responsibility programs along the way.

In terms of the MOOVPAD apps, this work involves the development of both mobile and desktop tools for general users and professionals in the fields of health, fitness and sports science. The work is currently in the early to mid stages of progress, and the progress has been quite solid. The PAPE framework underpinning this development work is ongoing, with several patents already filed.

Why Do Physiologic Efficiency & PAPE Matter?

Well… you know how nobody ever says “my car is so awesome because it burns 100 liters of fuel even while doing 5 miles per hour”? That’s because it would make no sense for someone to buy a car that wasn’t fuel efficient like that. And it turns out it’s exactly the same in humans too. Until the science of physiologic efficiency was developed, and then extended through the PAPE framework, people were measuring performance based only on things like heart rate by itself… which is like the car’s fuel situation. So the concepts of physiologic efficiency and the PAPE framework are kind of like ‘miles to the gallon’ in cars, and are the first ever simplified use of this type of thinking in people during exercise, developed for application without the need for complex equipment and technical training.

Of course there are still lots more Q&A type posts to come. The FAQ's above are just the start of building a set of answers to common thoughts and questions when it comes to MOOVPAD and the ongoing work being shared.

These were written and modified through the day, and will be included in their own section on the new site (to come later). But since I know that many people have questions, and given my own aversion to 'flexing', I wanted to break these things down casually.

We now return you to our regular programming and the latest instalment of "How You Doin'?" by that great scholar of the ages - J. Tribiani.

Stay awesome,

EMH
