Tonight I'll be starting a new series for the site, looking at the types of tech solutions that are available for productivity.
Workloads
When you are developing an app that has different creative and technical aspects, and you're working either solo or in a small team, the workflows may look similar to larger teams in terms of overall tasks, but the planning and 'threading' of these tasks are actually significantly different. And that's where I find myself now and in the short-medium term (1-3 yrs).
Options & Value
Although we each would like to dream about having access to top parts for all component types available at will, and with an unlimited budget, this often doesn't make financial sense even if the funds are available to operate that way. And so I've found resources and learnings that may help me personally, and hopefully others, to sort through the differences between what may be possible and what is likely to be more optimal for those who find themselves in a situation similar to mine.
Purpose of Series
The main aims of this series are to plan ahead for the different tasks to come with the MOOVPAD project, and to continue the open and transparent sharing of knowledge relating to growth and operations of the project and it's various aspects.
I also hope that some of what I share in these posts will be helpful to others and their projects. Because business planning is complex even at the best of times. But when the project is complicated, the global environment is at best unstable, and both sides of the 'supply and demand' equations are evolving rapidly and on many levels each, we need to bring together knowledge and ideas from a wide range of resources.
These are the goals in a broad sense. Let's see how we go 😉
