After a really cool coding session at the start of the day and some more progress through the afternoon, it's time for a bit of a chill break to get the mind clear for the next session, and this latest awesome drop from Chillhop Music is playing in the background right now while I share the happenings 🙂
Optimising Functions
Most of the afternoon has been spent finding ways to reduce lines of code while ensuring that the necessary functionality remains clear. Thankfully this appears to be moving in the right direction and the new functions seem to be optimised in terms of efficiently processing the data retrieved from the database and putting together the results for output.
The functions themselves are still quite large, but the approach I'm using means I won't need to replicate them unnecessarily to perform similar tasks, and now require only minor adjustments through loop additions.
