On 13/06/22, I released the "I am #lame7" statement (link to the right). I sought permission to do so first from the majority of people visiting this site, since they obviously had no reason to be included as targets of the statement. Without going over the specific reasons for the statement and the seven core principles aimed at the intended targets, I will say that at no point will I be retracting or denying anything the statement contains. But personal growth also requires the next chapter.
This is important for lots of reasons. Not least of which is the respect owed to the awesome ones for allowing me the opportunity to express these issues at the time, and to stand by them since then. And so it is with genuine gratitude and appreciation that I will now add this 'closing bracket' to the #lame7 stance, just as it began with seeking permission. The statement will continue to be part of the site as well as each upcoming post (as a link within this current post, which will be added to the base of the 'HOW MOOVPAD IS BEING BUILT' post in place of the stand-alone #lame7 statement). However it will now be part of a larger picture, progressing towards that personal growth.
Once again, I want to thank the awesome ones for their patience and support over the past two years. I realise of course that you guys understood the reasoning behind it all. And the least I can do is have my gratitude to you become the new key feature of every post, in place of the negativity.
It is people like you who provide the more-than-sufficient balance to the #lame7 causes. Please accept my sincere gratitude and respect.
