Always New Ideas 😎
While taking some time to learn about the latest advances in programming architectures and framework, like .NET MAUI and how this can help speed up the production of the desktop and mobile versions of the MOOVPAD app by using the Web App as a foundation, I've also been chilling with this latest awesome release from Kirin, and planning... 🙂

Next Gen System
It's really no secret that I am a fanboy of AMD processors and ASUS everywhere else I can possibly use it. These brands have been at the core of all the systems I have built or even considered building, and at this stage, I would also need to include NVIDIA GPU's (although this can change if needs be).
So to power the next stage of the planned development of content for MOOVPAD, it's only right that I start with these core elements and build around them. So my plan is to gradually 'wishlist' some items for the next build with you guys and see what might be possible once all the pieces are in place a bit later on.
I already have systems running both the AMD 3900X (still a very capable CPU) and the 5900X (which is the one I'm currently using for most of my workflow). I am planning some minor upgrades to both of these along the way, and these may actually end up being done first. But here's what I'm currently thinking for the next system:
- AMD 7950X CPU (with 64 GB of DDR5 RAM based on the platform needs, as it doesn't support DDR4 memory any more)
- ASUS ROG Strix X670E - E motherboard (although really expensive now, I'm hoping the prices of all these components will become a bit more reasonable by the time I'm building)
- ASUS ROG Strix 4080 (again, this is complete overkill for what I actually need since I'm not currently doing any major 3D or video rendering, but as prices drop, might make more sense)
- All the other bits and pieces that need to go with those core components (sticking with ASUS ROG components, because besides being a fanboy, I've truly found the brand to produce reliable products in my own experience)
And ladies and gentlemen... to house all of these components in the only way I feel is fitting...
The new ASUS ROG HYPERION GR701 🥹
Look at it. Just... look at it. I want.
What? A bloke can dream, yeah? 🙂
Stay awesome,
EMH
