When I did my PhD, I had a feeling that I would only get one real shot at doing something special. So instead of doing one simple, straight-forward research project, I did 12 of them. I remember thinking to myself "that really was insanity". And that work was completed in 3 and a half years with little or no sleep on most nights for the second half of that period. I've got the same feeling again with the MOOVPAD project... you know, that "one chance" type deal. And the workload this time around is way beyond insanity. Two different versions, on at least two platforms at launch, plus all the ongoing science development, CSR, as well as aaaallll the other things related to business. Plus I've only been working on it for 2 years.
And another brain-thingy I had just left the building!
