241030 – MOOVPAD Apps – Built-In Redundancy Measures

Multi-Level Processes & Systems

For some of you guys with extensive training in cybersecurity and networking, it may seem strange that I am choosing to build my own features as well as using solutions already available in the market. So I thought I would explain a little more. The screenshots here demonstrate some of my recent learning progress, and plans for ongoing system development.

Building in redundancies into systems like these is of course not a new approach by any means. So I'm not trying to re-invent the wheel. However I'm also mindful that in order to ensure the best results possible during the early stages, I need to address every level of the system. This means going from an individual textbox on the client-side UI, all the way through to the kernel of the server and it's hardware, as well as centralised support processes and systems for network-wide monitoring. So it's just about checking all the boxes.

Gotta say though, some steep learning curves in there too 🙂

Stay awesome,

EMH

HOW MOOVPAD IS BEING BUILT

For the overview of how MOOVPAD apps are being developed, the reasoning behind particular decisions during development, policies, and more in relation to all the technical things, please see the link to the left.

This will be an ongoing work in progress, and will always be linked to the bottom of each upcoming Blog post.
