Sharing General & MOOV Data
As the long weekend starts tomorrow, with four days to focus on some of the new UI screens for the MOOVPAD Mobile apps, I thought I'd use the time to work on the uploading of MOOV and general posts. While the main function of MOOVPAD apps isn't really intended to be a social media platform, these features will nevertheless allow social interaction in a way that suits users' own needs.
The first type of uploads I need to develop the UI for on mobile devices are the general shares, where users will be able to upload whatever they like in a flexible way (e.g. mentioning a new shift in their training focus, an upcoming event, or a new service or program type they've discovered, etc). At least initially, the main goal is to enable text-only sharing when it comes to these general posts. Images and video may be enabled at a later stage, depending on how the MOOVPAD apps develop, user needs, and server capacity.
Sharing MOOV data is perhaps a bit easier to work on as these posts can be standardised to a large extent. That's why I'm keeping this relatively easier feature to work on after the general shares have been dealt with.
All the while thinking "this is normal, right? OMG this is normal... right... right?" 🙂
