Blazor: New Learnings – Level 2

Late Night Vibe 😎

Hopefully your Thursday has been (or will be, depending on where you are in the world) a really productive day for your work and learning. Mine has been pretty busy on both counts, and I thought I'd share this recent bit of progress with you guys as we enjoy the latest awesome release from Work Music Lab that premiered just a short while ago 🙂

Data Binding

Although I didn't know it at the time, the method I used to pass whole objects between components is very similar to a technique known as App State management. While my approach is slightly different, I am basically doing the same thing as this technique. I just didn't know it was an option before, and discovered it just now while completing this latest unit of the MS Blazor tutorials/learning path.

Combined with the setup work completed earlier, I think the next few days are going to be quite busy and yield some good results by the end of the week. My main goal by Sunday is to have at least one full PAPE assessment UI screen ready, and possibly a revamp of the original database to streamline this data collection and retrieval. With the main code already written, these goals should be attainable alongside my sideline stuff tomorrow and Saturday, with Sunday left for the wrap up of these tasks 🙂

Stay awesome,

EMH
