Site Stats – Latest Update

Gratitude... Always 😎

Having posted last time about plans for some social re-branding (first time discussing socials at all in a long time), I realised it might also be a good time to share news about this site's growth over the last 9 months or so, and link this with future plans too. And this vibe from Bass Bangers, a channel I just discovered, will be an awesome mood-setter 🙂

Overall Picture

I have always promised transparency and openness when it comes to this site and MOOVPAD plans and progress in general. So these screenshots were taken a few minutes ago and I can summarise these figures by saying that growth has been gradual but thankfully, driven by people out there who can see me trying hard to build a positive brand that stands for something more than just profit, and want to be there for the outcomes. And I will continue keeping my promises.

In terms of monthly page requests, MOOVPAD had just over 39,000 in May, with the 6-month average traffic per hour shown to the right. These numbers are no doubt a little higher if we look at just the last month, but I wanted to give a broader picture for proper context rather than just hyping up the results. However I am still rather proud of these results although they certainly are no comparison to YT and Twitch channels that can generate these kinds of results in mere minutes. The best part about all of these figures for me: they are 100% organic... you guys did this.

Device breakdown is shown to the left. The bots in this context refer to shopping sites and malicious activity, accounting for at least some of the DDOS attacks attempted each day. Browser figures show that Firefox accounts for 74.7% of all browsers used. In terms of audience numbers by countries, the three most consistent audiences over the last 6 months have continued to be from the US, Australia and the UK, with a few other countries gradually climbing too.

And so the two main questions right now are probably: (a) what all these figures have to do with the last post about socials; and (b) how MOOVPAD will seek to drive growth in the future.

I'll start with the first question by saying that these figures demonstrate that I am not relying on socials to drive MOOVPAD's growth, and will not be relying on social advertising spend as a major driver of audience outreach. Far from it, actually. The only reasons the socials may be used would be as additional avenues for engagement with those already on the platforms.

This brings us to the second question, and I can tell you guys that one of the avenues may eventually involve Google advertising, among others. But first and foremost... I plan on driving continued growth by continuing to keep my promises and aim for something bigger than just plain profit, focusing on corporate social responsibility in everything that MOOVPAD and I do into the future.

The other major reason for showing you guys these figures is to assure you that your support is not going unnoticed or unappreciated. I may not be anywhere near back to normal yet, and could tell you some real shocking stories about the road so far, trust me... but your support is what's making the difference. No words for that.

Stay awesome,

EMH
