3DS Max Interactive

Having tried Blender, it's time to try something a bit more reliable perhaps. So today is about seeing if 3DS Max 2021 is potentially a better fit for the work I want to get done. This screenshot shows it's ready for the kind of workload.

Unity Learnings

Yesterday I posted about the wokflow, and the learnings for this continue with the only change so far being the possibility of exchanging Blender for something else.

So the Unity learnings will continue regardless.

The progress made so far includes basic interface tooling and nav, as well as object creation and intro-level file management (e.g. scripts, materials, prefabs, etc). Also wrote a script o make the object jump. Might take that further.

The Pipeline

In creative workflows, the term "pipeline" is used to refer to how work flows from part of the project or from one application/environment to another. There are of course learnings needed for that too.

Anyone interested in these kinds of files for Unity and 3DS Max will find them easily online, but let me know if you need hints.
