it just is?
I am often asked why I chose to get into coding when I haven't had any formal training in it. It's a valid question. So I'll answer it here once and for all.
The point of me writing code is not to become a professional programmer, or the best in cybersecurity, or anything like that. My background is something else entirely. But I have solutions that need building. And where there are technical shortcomings in my abilities, they will be remedied by two things. First remedy is procedural (doing things differently). The second is the right collaborations at the right time (working differently).
So if you ever feel that you want to tackle a problem but don't have all the answers, don't let it stop you. Nobody ever does!
People learn to program in their spare time every day. And some of the best software and hardware ideas have come from non-programmers. Governments and multi-billion dollar corporations get hacked all the time. And so the solution isn't to wait until you are proficient in every area of the whole development process, or have every resource you'll ever need.
The trick is to start. Work. Hard. Believe in what you have to offer. Because trust me when I say, it might take a very long time before anyone else does. And if everyone who ever had an idea waited for everybody else to agree with their vision, nothing would ever progress.
Stay awesome,
