Towards the end of the night's activities for me, so I thought I'd get a lil' bit epic to match the awesomeness that is you guys 😉
Here's one of those trippy tracks and matching visuals to send you off on your imaginative adventures. Enjoy as we check out the newest addition to the 3D world in my head... a new head!
Second Character Head
This time around it was much quicker for me to reach this point in the process, so I know I'm improving my skills overall. The idea this time is to produce a convenient branching point that can be taken in any direction (e.g. realistic or stylised, male or female). Realistically, as a person gets better, this might not save too much time in practice. But so far so good.
Loop Preservation
The main thing I've been learning along the way is the importance of preserving all the different loops that run along the surface of a mesh. This will help with the application of materials and UV editing later on. As you can see in the smaller images, all the necessary loops are fine and dandy.
