More Learning & Planning
We've already seen some of the security policy frameworks planned for the MOOVPAD apps (see left), and I mentioned the initial networking setup in the last post. This weekend has been focused on a bit more networking and server learning (see below), as well as some research into third-party services (e.g. server pro-support programs, WAF's and so on).
Along with the internal MOOVPAD policies, such support programs and external service providers will help ensure compliance with standards. The vulnerabilities of this current third-party-hosted WordPress (php) site have provided good learning opportunities too. In terms of networking, I'm currently working on site-site things like secure networking and VPNs, and the linux server course is also progressing well.
Hopefully I can handover something to the future teams that is at least setup correctly, and they can improve from there 🙂
