'That' Question - Funding
I thought I'd handle the question most people would want an answer to first. Does MOOVPAD have a solid plan to be able to fund all the different projects? The answer is yes, and there are multiple options available for this.
The most obvious is borrowing against current assets, selling these assets and adding borrowings, venture capital investment, etc. With these, I estimate MOOVPAD can raise at minimum, all the funds required for the launch of the actual MOOVPAD Web App at the time it is ready for release.
However there are also other options. These include revenue streams besides the apps themselves (as we'll see below), and the potential for creative approaches in some areas (e.g. profit share agreements with specific teams). Grants and sponsorships are also options. And so, yes, there's a plan with multiple funding options and strategies available.
Revenue Streams & Resources
In addition to the sale of the MOOVPAD general and pro user versions of the relevant apps, we can also add the potential revenue from the sale of the texts and courses that have been developed. These relate specifically to the PAPE scientific framework at the heart of the MOOVPAD apps, and this is itself growing over time. And there may be a couple of planned surprises as well along the way.
Building The Right Team
Whether the team is involved with marketing, technical expertise, or other business area, my goal is to be the dummy constantly walking around or in virtual meetings going "huh?"... "what does that mean?'... and my personal favourite: "I'll trust you on this". Ideally each member of the team or partner organisation will be better than I am in key areas. And jokes aside for sec... that might not always be straightforward.
Development & Release Cycle
In terms of the plans for funding and building the right team, the development and release cycle planned for MOOVPAD apps is also an advantage. I have planned these release stages to allow for not just technical development and testing, but also opportunities to achieve the business goals above. For example, any potential grant authorities, investors or sponsors will be able to see the growth and track record of the apps.
Online Marketing & Promotion
Although I have started to use FB again for the short-term, specifically looking to take the opportunity to look back at some of the development stages, learning, and other important milestones over the past three years or so, online promotion will likely not be a major factor during the early phases. I do have a plan for it later though.
And so just like the learning goals I've set up, MOOVPAD does indeed have structured development, business and release plans in place. MOOVPAD is most definitely not desperately searching for chances, but is looking forward to opportunities to collaborate with others and gradually grow, serving our communities along the way.
