Servers, Python & More
Hopefully you guys have had a good few days since we last caught up. My learning has continued, and I now have specific goals mapped out for the MOOVPAD apps deployment journey with set milestones corresponding to the different stages. The main thing to remember is that although the static site is due to be released in around 7-8 months or so, I actually have more than 2 years to keep learning and improving before the webAPI's and main apps are ready for final release.
In this past week, I've managed to get done with the basic Python syntax and Bash scripting, and moved on to gathering some of the essentials for things like IP tables and related security features, as well as writing and deploying python programs server-side to automate some of the tasks to simplify long-term admin. I plan on having dedicated security servers set up for these tasks and network admin generally. So by the time the webAPI's to the right are ready, servers will be ready to go as well. The next stage of the python learning should be done in the next 4-5 days.
It's as if I've done this learning/research thing before lol 🙂
