Integration & Admin Systems
Well... it's time to start working on the MOOVPAD Pro system architecture and building blocks. Although it's easy to think of basic concepts from a top-level perspective, the actual integration of different modules, data structures, and admin systems needed to keep all of these working the right way is a bit more involved.
And so despite still having an extra month to work on the MOOVPAD Mobile versions, I've decided to start developing some of the systems architecture now for the MOOVPAD Pro and server-side MOOVPAD Admin functions. Work on the UI for all of the MOOVPAD apps will of course continue. However since all of these apps are designed to be integrated for individual users, and these functions will therefore be integrated through the MOOVPAD Pro version, and the MOOVPAD Admin system will need to handle all of that... makes sense to start building the integrative systems.
What to expect moving forward:
- Panel-type UI layouts for MOOVPAD Pro (similar to Adobe Illustrator UI above with panels to show/hide);
- Modes to become more of a focus through the development process for each platform;
- Seemingly unrelated posts, 'out of sequence';
- Building functions and system integration simultaneously;
- More learning and more screw ups as all of this happens;
- Even more insanity as I realise the enormous scope of the development I've taken on.
