MOOVPAD Server Processes
Although the MOOVPAD apps will mostly be automated on the server-side, there are still some processes that are needed for general admin tasks. In addition to these are a subset of coordination processes needed for some of the features we haven't yet discussed. For example, some processes will operate better if they run in RAM rather than needing to call back and forth through database servers.
When I built the in-house clinic management app many years ago, I used a similar approach and it seemed to work just fine. So I'll be refining that approach to run in parallel with the webAPI handling database processes. The RAM-based processes will of course mean greater strain on those machines but I believe I can minimise and (to some extent) predict this demand as growth occurs.
