231130 – MOOV Program Design (Continued)

Chill Work Ambience 😎

Although I've had sideline tasks to take care of over the past two days, I also managed to make some good progress with the MOOVPAD Desktop App. So I hope you guys enjoy this latest awesome Chill Music Lab release while I quickly log that progress for later 🙂

Mapping MOOVs To Schedule

The screenshot to the left was from the previous work that focused on getting the schedule itself working the way I needed it to, and used only blank MOOV icons from the left panel to populate the schedule to test the drag and drop functionality and basic links. The larger image below shows that the Program Moovs panel is now functional.

I've also added the code that was needed to map the specific MOOVs chosen from that panel to particular slots in the schedule, as well as adding those MOOVs into the program in memory. The next step will be adding the 2-way linking of the MOOVs to the scheduled slots for long-term storage, to simplify program recovery later for display in different controls or contexts (e.g. program editing).

Still plenty of work to be done, but some good progress too, and I hope to catch up again soon with more 🙂

Stay awesome,

EMH

HOW MOOVPAD IS BEING BUILT

For the overview of how MOOVPAD apps are being developed, the reasoning behind particular decisions during development, policies, links to the science and research at the core of MOOVPAD, and more in relation to all the technical things, please see the link to the left.

This will be an ongoing work in progress, and will always be linked to the bottom of each upcoming Blog post.
