231128 – MOOV Program Design (Continued)

Progress 😎

Morning prep session has started and the goals for the work last night were completed (albeit in a different order). I'll go over some of the MOOVPAD Desktop App progress, and see what's planned for the last of my current four-day focus block while we enjoy this awesome Chill Music Lab release 🙂

MOOV Program In Memory

Another 2,000 lines of code have been added since I shared the screenshot on the left yesterday evening. However this new code is not the repetitive kind but rather important for handling the actual MOOV additions and deletions, and building the MOOV program in memory so that it can then be sent to the database for long-term storage.

The UI screenshots show some changes as well. Although I knew where the schedule slots were, I needed to add the clearer boxes/grid pattern so that users could effectively use the schedule. This can be seen in the last screenshot to the right. The last major part of the code to be added today will focus on displaying the different blocks and weeks of the program as users select from the options on the right-side of the control (dropdowns).

The day starts early for me, and I hope you guys have a great week ahead until we catch up next 🙂

Stay awesome,

EMH

HOW MOOVPAD IS BEING BUILT

For the overview of how MOOVPAD apps are being developed, the reasoning behind particular decisions during development, policies, links to the science and research at the core of MOOVPAD, and more in relation to all the technical things, please see the link to the left.

This will be an ongoing work in progress, and will always be linked to the bottom of each upcoming Blog post.
