231118 – MOOV Program Design

Chill Chill 😎

Hopefully you guys have had a great start to your weekend so far and getting ready for another good week ahead. I've made a bit more progress with the MOOVPAD Desktop App and wanted to log it here for future reference. So I hope you enjoy this awesome Chill Music Lab release while we see some of this progress 🙂

MOOV Programs - Structure

At first glance, it might seem pretty simple to plan the basic structure of a training program. And when we think about the planning of a single program, that can be true. However when there's a need to allow each different app user to design a program that suits their own particular requirements, it requires a lot of flexibility in terms of options. This in turn means added complexity.

Fortunately though, the first stage of MOOV program building - the basic structure - has now been coded to a degree that allows me to progress to the next stage of the process (the templates have not yet been included - mainly focused on completely custom programs designed by users). This involves planning specific MOOVs to be used as building blocks for the final stage.

Plenty more work to do over the next two days, and so I'll get back to it and wish you and yours all the best 🙂

Stay awesome,

EMH

HOW MOOVPAD IS BEING BUILT

For the overview of how MOOVPAD apps are being developed, the reasoning behind particular decisions during development, policies, links to the science and research at the core of MOOVPAD, and more in relation to all the technical things, please see the link to the left.

This will be an ongoing work in progress, and will always be linked to the bottom of each upcoming Blog post.
