230910 – Web App vs Desktop & Mobile Versions

Progress 😎

One of the biggest challenges in terms of developing the MOOVPAD Web App has been scope and integration of this across the different versions of the MOOVPAD apps. So as the few days of focus wrap up, I thought I'd take this opportunity to highlight one of these elements as we enjoy this awesome Chill Music Lab release 🙂

Features & Versions

In the screen capture to the left, we can see that the MOOV dashboard shows the next scheduled MOOV within each category. However the online-only version of the MOOVPAD app won't actually have the training program planning, viewing and editing features of the full app versions that will be available for purchase later. But users will be able to select a MOOV session that has already been scheduled, see the details and complete it through the MOOVPAD Web App.

There are also going to be some differences to the way users view and store their MOOVs, as well as going through a current training MOOV. The reasons for these differences relate mainly to the features of the platforms (Blazor WASM vs desktop and mobile) and storage limitations especially during the early stages. As work continues, I'll highlight these differences more.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and hope you have a great week coming up 🙂

Stay awesome,

EMH
