I've been working on some of the system tasks that are needed to help keep MOOVPAD app users as safe as possible online. I'll explain a little bit more about that as we continue, but wanted to share this latest vibe from 'the man from del monte' for us to enjoy while I catch us up real quick 🙂
The MTMT System
In my last post, I mentioned the work being done on the notifications for different things like tribe member uploads and messages. Since I've been developing the MOOVPAD Web App to avoid the use of session tokens, never collecting user IP addresses for push notifications, and never using advertising ID's from the beginning, I also needed to find ways to manage communications between the user and their tribe, non-linked accounts, and the MOOVPAD system itself.
The use of the Main Thread Multi-Tasking (MTMT) approach will allow users to browse through the app while background tasks retrieve messages, uploads, metrics, and so on. The goal right now is to develop these further as I go along, rather than focusing too much on these tasks while neglecting the main functions that will be needed for users during initial testing.
